Visuals are an important part of the K-Pop culture. Not only does this include visuals, hair and makeup on stage but also off stage – during promotions, interviews, appearances and sometimes even airport wear for that matter. Cameras are on these celebrities all the time and so it is essential to maintain an image that is lucrative and sleek at all times, even when you might think the cameras are not around.

As such, several idols have adopted a personal style. Style obviously also includes hair and hair makes or breaks a man. Man buns are totally a hit or a miss depending on who’s wearing them. For some idols, they’re a megahit as they look like princes in a man bun hairstyle. Here are some idols that have sported the man bun because guys with man buns sure have more fun!

Dean is a South Korean alternative R&B singer/songwriter with an extraordinarily striking aesthetic. He was is very well known for his appearance as a producer alongside ZICO in Show Me The Money as well as his myriad collaborations with K-Pop artists. He might be considered a pioneer of the R&B scene in South Korea. While he looks good in anything he does to his hair, he is famous for his man bun that he sported on multiple occasions.

Kim Young Kyun, better known by his stage name Hwi Young, is a South Korean rapper and performer. He’s the main rapper, vocalist and dancer on SF9. According to Jae Yoon, Hwi Young is the visual of the group as well and that may be considered as no lie considering the various styles he has tried in his time in the group. His man bun hairstyle was highly lauded to stylists as well as fans worldwide.

Yuta made fans’ heads go round and round when he stepped out with bright red hair, bangs and a man bun all in the same day. Fans even said that he looked like a real and proper Prince in that ensemble and they’re not wrong.

Choi Min-ki, better known by his stage name Ren, is a South Korean singer and actor. He debuted in 2012 as a vocalist of NU’EST and remains an active member of the group. Ren’s man bun has remained an exemplary man bun for anyone wanting to try the hairstyle. It is so perfect and carefully put in place that it almost looks unreal considering how attractive it is.

It’s no surprise that fans have wanted to see Jimin in a man bun for years and years now. They believed it would make his already ethereal beauty reach even newer heights if he ever did a man bun. Well, Jimin was ready to satisfy his fans when he came out in a man bun of gorgeous blonde hair during the dance practise of “Black Swan”. His beauty truly is unmatched because no one thought he could actually look at least ten times more attractive that he already did.

One of the more adorable man buns that somehow still looked super hot was Xiumin’s. He’s often seen wearing tiny little ponytails at the top of his hair which makes him look like the cutest thing ever but then fans saw him in a proper man bun and heads were turned.
