A Whopping 20 Out Of 25 Songs On Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales Chart Are K-Pop Songs This Week, Mostly BTS

Each week, Billboard posts their World Digital Song Sales chart to show which international digital singles are making the highest sales as of that week in the United States. This week, K-Pop is taking up 4/5 of the list! It’s not uncommon for the chart to have a lot of K-Pop songs listed, but this is an unusually high amount. It’s likely due to BTS‘s comeback with the song “Dynamite” — while the song itself doesn’t seem to qualify for the chart based on how it was marketed, ARMYs apparently took the opportunity to purchase a bunch of their older songs, making them skyrocket onto the chart! Here is the official list.
