Black Eyed Pil Seung’s first self-produced girl group, High Up Girls (tentative name), have officially confirmed their debut date with the official team name ‘STAYC’ as well as announced announced a full-scale march forward.

On the 12th of October 2020, the management company HIGH-UP Entertainment said, “The official team name of High Up Girls is confirmed as STAYC, and they will officially debut on November 12th.”

STAYC has been deemed to be a revolutionary new K-pop girl group coming from the producing team that produced a number of incredible hit songs for popular girl groups such as Twice, Chungha, Apink, and Sistar, and recently, the first activity song ‘DON’T TOUCH ME’. It is going to be the first girl group in charge of self-production and production by Black Eyed Pil Seung.

Last month, only three revealed members, starting with Park Si Eun, who appeared in various Korean dramas and left a deep impression as an actor, Bae Soo Min, and Yoon Se Eun, have been garnering attention from fans in Korea as well as abroad even before their debut.

The group name STAYC stands for ‘Star To A Young Culture’, meaning ‘I will become a star leading young culture’. As expected, high attention is being paid to what kind of concept StayC will bring to the music industry.

On 12th October, 2020, STAYC, who opened an official social media account and began counting down to their debut by revealing the team logo image, is planning to increase and amplify the expectations of fans by releasing various promotional teaser contents until the day of their debut.

An official from the agency said, “I am grateful that STAYC (StayC) is being shown a lot of interest and support even though it is still before debut. The members are working hard to prepare for their debut in order to greet them with a more wonderful look.”

Stay tuned for more updates on STAYC!
