BLACKPINK Celebrates Their 4th Debut Anniversary + Shares Heartwarming Messages

BLACKPINK turns four this day! On August 8, fans and supporters of the biggest K-pop girl group of the new generation celebrated their 4th Debut Anniversary. In line with this, YG Entertainment shared an exclusive content of BLACKPINK in YouTube.

On BLACKPINK’s official YouTube channel, YG Entertainment posted the Episode of, “24/365 with BLACKPINK,” the idol group first-ever reality show in the platform.

In the video, BLACKPINK was seen gathering in their dance practice room, and said, “It’s already the fourth anniversary of our debut,”

The members, who thought and consulted directly to create content to commemorate this, decided to shoot a “cosplay choreography video.”

Jisoo, who appeared in a cute outfit said, “I put out the dance video as the standard, but I thought BLINK would like it if I took a picture wearing a cute costume.”

As a gift to BLINKs, their fandom who have supported them throughout the years, the members decided to do the concept of “Frozen,” a Disney film, wherein Jisoo ended up cosplaying as Elsa, Jennie as Kristoff, Rosé as Anna while Lisa is Olaf, after drawing lots.

After debating about their roles, BLACKPINK then prepared for their transformation, and right after their makeup, the members were instantly immersed in the role play, with Jennie and Rosé playing a skit of being a boyfriend who gifted his girlfriend a fur coat, drawing laughter.

BLACKPINK, who started filming choreography video for “How You Like That” version of Frozen with a costume, dancing with their own excitement and individuality exploding, giving off bright energy.

Meanwhile, after doing the dance choreography video, BLACKPINK then participated in a fun shoot, posing whatever, they like while wearing cute headbands, showing their close relationships.

There was also time to celebrate their anniversary with surprise guests. According to the staffs, BLACKPINK will be celebrating with a BLINK, but to their surprise, the famous magician Choi Hyun Woo greeted them.

In the special magic session, the number related to BLACKPINK was revealed whenever the cards were flipped in turn. From the year of the members’ birth to the release of BLACKPINK’s group name on June 29, 2016, and their debut on August 8, they have made it impossible to take their eyes off the cards that match their history. BLACKPINK is set to dominate the music scene again with their first full-length album in four years since its debut on October.
