Starting this year, Rosé became the first Korean to become an official global muse of the Parisian fashion house, Yves Saint Laurent. In the interview, she showed a perfect understanding and affection of the brand and its creative director, Anthony Vaccarello.
“I thought I knew ‘classic’ well, but I did not. I always try to learn again and again by looking at Anthony’s clothes. Recently, I have been interested In expressing a subject with latex. There are various color spectrums and patterns, and there is a story that goes along with Yves Saint Laurent’s unique classic. The more I see it, the more amazing it is.”
The shoot was done before the release of BLACKPINK’s first full-length album, “THE ALBUM”. In the interview, Rosé revealed that even after the shoot was over, her day is far from done. The shoot was scheduled to finish at 11 PM, but she still had plans for the night.

“After the shoot, I am going to practice choreography. I can start my day a little later tomorrow, so I am going to practice as soon as we finish filming,” she says.
Rosé then spoke about her voice, which is loved by fans all around the world due to how unique it is.
“Many people have said my voice is ‘unique’, but I never thought that was the case until I made my debut. My goal was to always be a good singer rather than just another sing. I never even practiced nor tried to make a specific vocal tone or color. That is why it is such a big compliment; because I think the compliments are recognizing my individuality.”

In a radio interview, Rosé revealed that other than Gummy, labelmates senior BIGBANG’s Taeyang is one of the role models in her musical career. She also considered American singer Tori Kelly as an inspiration to her musical style.
