D-Crunch released a new mini-album “Across The Universe” on the music site before 6:00 p.m. on the 20th of October.
The album contains the message of self discovery through self recognition and going through the process of toil and hardship in order to understand one’s true self.
D-Crunch, which has drawn a strong history of growth from its debut to the present, is aiming to imprint their presence in the public by showing a record-breaking performance and a more intense and mature aspect through this comeback album.
The title track with the same name as the album is a hybrid trap genre song with a powerful sound. Global producers Kim Do Hyun, composer Jared Gocelin, and Bad Luck participated in the composition. The D-Crunch producing team GIG (OV, Hyun-oh, Hyun-wook) not only contributed to the lyrics, but all the members devoted themselves to creating the choreography.

In addition to the title track, the pop-inspired guitar sound and beautiful piano melody are impressive representations of the group in ‘Short Word’, the groovy harmony of guitar, bass, and piano brings out the dance in ‘HAGY (Have A Good Young)’, and the sincere heart of D-Crunch. A total of five tracks make up this album, including the fan song ‘Cases’ and the title track instrumental. D-Crunch is rough but delicate, and with a clumsy but honest sensibility, each track has a distinct personality.
Hyunwoo, who was unable to participate in this activity due to an injury, participated in the recording of the songs ‘Short Word’ and ‘HAGY’, raising the expectations of fans.
D-crunch, reorganized into an 8-member system, will appear on SBS MTV ‘The Show’ at the same time as the release of a new album on the 20th and release the stage of the title song ‘Emergency’ for the first time.
D-Crunch is a South Korean idol group formed by All-S Company in Seoul. The group consists of nine members: rappers Hyunho, O.V, Minhyuk, Chanyoung, Jungseung, and Dylan; and vocalists Hyunwook, Hyunoh, and Hyunwoo.
The nonet released its debut single “Palace” from 0806 on August 6, 2018. Three months later, the group released its first mini-album M1112 (4colors) along with “Stealer”. By the end of the year, D-Crunch received the Focus Award at the Asia Artist Awards. “Are You Ready?” from their second mini-album M0527 was released on May 27, 2019.
In early 2020, D-Crunch terminated their exclusive contract with All-S Company and signed with Ai Grand Korea. The group established a funding project to produce a digital single with the service We X, which grants contributors rights to the song and shares to the revenue it produces. They released the song “Pierrot” on May 22 via online music stores.
