BTS Left Out Of Billboard’s 2021 GRAMMY Predictions — But Why?

Have BTS been snubbed? Some fans are feeling that way after seeing Billboard‘s 2021 GRAMMY predictions.

On June 15, Billboard named their “Best Bets” for next year’s “Album of the Year”, “Record of the Year”, “Song of the Year”, and “Best New Artist”. The predictions were primarily based on the artists’ Billboard chart achievements, but despite BTS’s consistently high chart records and sales, they were not included in “Best Bets”, “Good Chance”, or “Within Reach” lists for could-be nominees.

Both fans and non-fans of BTS find it odd that the group was not included, citing their accomplishments.

Some have even accused the GRAMMYs system of being “rigged” and biased.

Nominees for the 63rd GRAMMY Awards will be announced later this year. The ceremony is slated to take place on January 31, 2021.
