It’s no secret that BTS‘s J-Hope has a love for all things KAWS. He’s posted numerous photos of himself with different KAWS items, sported their clothing, attended exhibits, and even met KAWS owner, Brian Donnelly, twice!

With all the love he’s shown to KAWS, it was really no surprise to see J-Hope with another figurine in his latest Twitter post. What was a surprise, however, was the fact that this was no ordinary figure!

On June 6, J-Hope posted several pictures to BTS’s official Twitter including one with the “TAKE” companion figure.

Shortly after he posted the pics, detective ARMY had already discovered that this particular figure had been released as part of the Black Lives Matter movement.

A portion of the sales from the figure is being donated to BLM movement organizations, including Color of Change, with the goal amount of $250,000 USD.

After J-Hope dropped his post, #Hobi quickly became a worldwide trend as fans shared their support for his gesture while sharing lots of love for him too.

This isn’t the first time that J-Hope and his fellow BTS members have shown their support for the Black Lives Matter movement, however. In June, they spoke up about racial discrimination and equality as well as donated $1 million USD with Big Hit Entertainment, a sum which ARMY quickly matched!
