Black Out kdrama – Episode 10 Recap and Spoilers.

In the MBC Friday-Saturday drama Black Out, which aired on the 20th, Go Jung-woo (Byun Yo-han) discovered his father’s car that had been stored away for a decade.

In the 10th episode, Noh Sang-chul (Go Joon) presented Detective Kim Hee-do (Jang Won-young) with a file containing Go Jung-woo’s statement from 2013, asking, “Was there a car accident that day? I heard there was a witness?” Kim Hee-do, seemingly caught off guard, responded, “No? Then there wasn’t one.” His irritation prompted Noh Sang-chul to suggest, “I think I need to investigate the car accident from 11 years ago further,” leading him to contact Go Jung-woo.

Go Jung-woo requested Ha-seol (Kim Bo-ra) to create a flyer to seek a witness for the accident. While reviewing the flyer, he was struck by Ha-seol’s drawing, which she explained was inspired by Su Ho’s sketch from that day. “This one looks like Sim Bo-young,” she noted, identifying figures in the scene. Go Jung-woo added, “Min-soo and Byeong Mu,” prompting Ha-seol to express her suspicion about Choi Na-kyum, remarking, “The person in the hood—I initially thought it was you.”

Choi Na-gyeom (Go Bo-gyeol) visited Yang Byung-moo (Lee Tae-goo), who confronted her about the events of that day, saying, “Don’t you remember anything? You told me to handle it all.” Reflecting on the aftermath of the incident, Choi Na-gyeom warned, “If you go to the police now, your father will lose his job. You wanted to be a cop, right? That dream ends here. I’m your friend too—let’s just move Bo-young and clean this up.” The three decided to follow her lead.

Yang Byung-moo lamented, “If only you had urged us to turn ourselves in back then. Would Geon-oh have died? Would Jung-woo have gone to prison?” Choi Na-gyeom turned off her microphone, revealing her true feelings: “Those cowards who killed Bo-young and cried—I helped you out of pity, and now this is how you repay me?”

Playing the victim, she said to Yang Byung-moo, “Why are you doing this to me? I thought you and Min-soo were friends. If you threaten me just because I’m famous, I can’t help you.”

Yang Heung-soo (Cha Soon-bae) threatened Hyun Goo-tak (Kwon Hae-hyo), insisting, “I’m going to turn myself in. We were all there that day.” Eleven years ago, Hyun Goo-tak, Shim Dong-min, Yang Heung-soo, and Shin Chu-ho (Lee Doo-il) had been drinking together.

As they cleaned up the crime scene from that night, Hyun Geon-oh (Lee Ga-seop) retrieved Sim Bo-young’s (Jang Ha-eun) phone, underwear, and bag. He then called Hyun Goo-tak, stating, “Bo-young died in the warehouse. Please come quickly.” When Yang Byung-moo assumed he had contacted the police, he said, “Our father will help you.” The three fathers soon arrived, with Hyun Goo-tak asserting control: “You all need to get your act together.”

Reflecting on that fateful day, Yang Heung-soo accused, “You ordered everything,” to which Hyun Goo-tak replied, “Why would I? My son is dead. Do you understand?” Yang Heung-soo pressed, “You didn’t act because Geon-oh is dead?” waving Sim Bo-young’s bracelet as a threat. Hyun Goo-tak turned away, firmly stating, “This isn’t evidence. Think before you act.”

Hyun Goo-tak later confronted Kim Hee-do about scrapping Go Jung-woo’s car, pressing for clarity. Kim Hee-do hesitated, and Hyun Goo-tak demanded, “Find the witness quickly.” He then met with the junkyard owner, who revealed that Go Jung-woo’s car had not been scrapped.

Meanwhile, Noh Sang-chul stopped Kim Hee-do, commenting, “Go Jung-woo’s father kept the car in a container for 10 years. Isn’t that something?” As the episode unfolded, Go Jung-woo’s discovery of the hidden car heightened the drama’s tension.
