Pachinko unfolds a gripping saga of forbidden love and the tumultuous journey of a Korean immigrant family, spanning across Korea, Japan, and the United States. The series is celebrated for its intricate portrayal of the epic narrative that covers four generations of a Korean family through war, peace, love, and strife.

Episode 3 is particularly anticipated as it promises new developments for Seon-ja in both 1945 and 1989. The previous episode saw Seon-ja (Kim Min-ha) and her family reunited with Isaac (Noh Sang-hyun), whose fate was uncertain after being arrested by the Japanese police. Their poignant reunion captured global attention and left a lasting impression.

In this upcoming episode, the narrative takes a pivotal turn as it shows Seon-ja and her family adjusting to life in the countryside after narrowly escaping a bombing in Osaka in 1945. Additionally, viewers will be intrigued by Han-soo’s (Lee Min-ho) attempts to get closer to Seon-ja’s son, Noah (Kim Kang-hoon).

In Osaka in 1989, the storyline shifts to an elderly woman (Youn Yuh-jung) forming a new friendship with Kato (Jun Kunimura), adding another layer of depth to the narrative.

Season 2 of Pachinko, based on the New York Times bestselling novel, continues to explore the enduring hopes and dreams of a Korean immigrant family through its delicate and heartfelt storytelling. The season, consisting of eight episodes, will release one new episode every Friday until October 11.
