The latest broadcast began with Eun-ho (Shin Hae-sun), who decides to live as Hye-ri to understand how Hye-ri achieved happiness. She meets Joo-yeon (Kang Hoon) at the Media N Seoul parking management office. When Joo-yeon asks about Eun-ho’s existence, Eun-ho responds, “I found out that I have a sister. It’s hard to explain.” Joo-yeon then confesses, “I miss you so much,” regarding her visit to Eun-ho’s house, leaving Eun-ho visibly embarrassed. Later, during a sports day event at Media N Seoul, Joo-yeon wraps her arms around Eun-ho during a dodgeball game, openly expressing her feelings for Hye-ri and exciting those around them. When Eun-ho injures her hand due to someone else’s mistake and needs stitches, Joo-yeon’s concern for Hye-ri becomes evident.
Although Joo-yeon trusts Eun-ho, she gradually becomes confused by Eun-ho’s actions. When Joo-yeon hands Eun-ho Hye-ri’s cell phone, Eun-ho replies, “It’s yours. I think I had it with me that day. I don’t remember, though.” When Joo-yeon tries to contact the parking management office about Hye-ri, she is told, “There’s no employee record. It hasn’t been registered yet. I think it was missed,” prompting more evasiveness from Eun-ho. As Eun-ho listens to Joo-yeon, who remarks, “You’re a quick-witted person,” Eun-ho reflects, “That’s because Hye-ri said it.” When Eun-ho adds, “You’re someone who’s curious about a lot of things,” Joo-yeon responds, “That’s because Hye-ri made you curious,” highlighting Joo-yeon’s growing confusion.
The following day, Eun-ho arrives at work at PPS and meets with the news director (Kim Dong-gyun) to plead for a change regarding Hyun-oh (Lee Jin-wook), who had given up his 9 o’clock news anchor position for her. However, the director dismisses her, saying, “You two are really desperate. But don’t include me in that,” and “You could have done whatever Jung Hyun-oh asked you to do. He’s a star. Where did you get the likes of you? Get out.” Meanwhile, Hyun-oh’s decision to forfeit the anchor position only limits his role at PPS further.
Subsequently, Eun-ho and Hyun-oh are selected as PPS representatives for a joint campaign with three broadcasting companies, catching everyone’s attention when they encounter Joo-yeon, the Media N Seoul representative. When Hyun-oh arrives at the filming location, he asks Joo-yeon, “Where have we seen each other before?” while shaking her hand, creating a palpable tension between them. Joo-yeon is captivated by Eun-ho when she arrives, and Eun-ho, feeling Hyun-oh’s gaze, momentarily freezes before attempting to act nonchalantly, heightening the tension.
Later, Joo-yeon approaches Eun-ho and greets her, extending her hand. Eun-ho hesitates before replying, “Hello. Nice to meet you.” However, Joo-yeon’s demeanor changes as she notices the bandage on Eun-ho’s hand, which is in the same spot where Hye-ri was injured. Joo-yeon realizes that her phone number was saved in Hye-ri’s phone, prompting her to search for Hye-ri. However, she witnesses Hyun-oh and Eun-ho in a friendly exchange, intensifying her intrigue.
Ultimately, Joo-yeon, believing Hye-ri is two-timing her, seeks out Eun-ho. There, Eun-ho confesses her dissociative identity disorder and apologizes for the confusion. Joo-yeon asks, “Do you not remember meeting me? Then who did I meet?” adding, “I met Joo Hye-ri just the day before yesterday.” When Eun-ho mentions, “I must’ve liked Kang Joo-yeon,” Joo-yeon expresses her confusion: “Who? You? Hye-ri?”
In response to Eun-ho’s assertion that Hye-ri doesn’t exist, Joo-yeon insists, “She does exist. I saw her. She held my hand and talked to me, just the day before yesterday. If I hadn’t come looking for her, would this have disappeared?” He continues, “I thought you were two-timing me, but that’s not true. Because Hye-ri said she likes me. If I pretend not to know, can I meet Hye-ri again? Since you’re the same person, you can answer me.” This plea stirs sympathy in Joo-yeon. He reiterates, “I just need Hye-ri to come back,” while Eun-ho apologizes for the pain caused, eliciting more pity from viewers.
Eun-ho reflects on a past conversation with Hyun-oh, who had shared his dream of becoming a news anchor, saying, “That’s just a dream. It’s my one and only wish. Everyone watches the news. I thought my mom would see it too. I wish she’d think of me when she saw me on the news somewhere, saying, ‘I’m proud of you, my son.’” Later, Eun-ho, overwhelmed with longing, freezes when she hears a coworker mention Hyun-oh’s impending marriage. As Hyun-oh is about to respond, his eyes meet a shocked Eun-ho’s. Simultaneously, Eun-ho’s voice is heard saying, “Hyun-oh. Will you always be like this with me? Because I love you,” followed by Hyun-oh’s reply, “Because I love you,” leaving viewers eager to see what happens next.
Eun-ho’s shock at Hyun-oh’s marriage news and Joo-yeon’s frustration upon discovering Eun-ho’s dissociative identity disorder create a significant storm that complicates Eun-ho’s emotional struggles, raising the stakes for whether she will be able to confront her dual crises.
