THREE BRAVE SIBLINGS ended with OK ratings for a weekender. A bit of fan service at the end with a cute group photo, the least convincing wedding of all time, a scene where Soorim is in a wedding dress, etc. Most satisfying scene: The arrest of Soorim’s ex. Bottom line: Not the worst weekender of all time but this show will not be on my list of recommended weekend family dramas.
DIVORCE ATTORNEY SHIN really has grown to be that much better, and the audience noticed.
THE HEAVENLY IDOL is a show we are enjoying but it is also a mess, and in some ways the problem may be similar to THREE BRAVE SIBLINGS: The writer simply does not know how to fully realize the potential of the shows premise. This show should have been far more musical and comical- it is a fish out of water tale, after all, and set in the music and dance scene. Both shows failed to live up to their potential due to the choices made by their writers.
