It appears EXO member Kai has snagged himself a cosmetics deal! The idol is reported to be Bobbi Brown’s first-ever male muse.
On October 12, Monday, the editor-in-chief of 1st Look Magazine, Kim Yoon Hee, shared a photo on her Instagram featuring her alongside EXO’s Kai. In the post, Kim Yoon Hee is seen posing with Kai, who is holding a cake and a bouquet of flowers. The post has since been deleted. As her post was deleted, her face has been censored to protect her identity.

The cake reads, “Kai x Bobbi Brown” and “Congratulations on becoming Bobbi’s first male muse“, essentially confirming that Kai will become the first male muse of the internationally famous cosmetics brand. However, no official statement from Bobbi Brown nor SM Entertainment has been made.
Fans have been excitedly supporting Kai on his cosmetics deals, with fans creating the hashtag #KAIxBOBBIBROWN on Twitter in which they congratulate the idol and explain why he deserves this cosmetics deal.

This is not the first brand Kai will be the face of. In 2019, Kai was named the first Gucci Brand Ambassador. It is currently his second year holding the title. It has been reported that Kai was chosen as the first-ever Korean global ambassador for Gucci because of his incredible fashion choices that no one call pull off as well as him. Kai is known for pulling off every kind of look, from elegant to chic, to bold, and to avant-garde. With fashion, Kai is not afraid to go out of his comfort zone.
Currently, Kai is the first Korean ambassador for Gucci Eyewear Men.

Kai, whose real name is Kim Jongin, is a South Korean singer, model, actor, and dancer. He debuted as a member of EXO in 2012 under SM Entertainment and debuted with the company’s supergroup SuperM in 2019. In 2012, Kai promoted with the project unit Younique Unit alongside labelmates Eunhyuk, Henry, Hyoyeon, Taemin, and Luhan in collaboration with Hyundai.

In December 2017, Kai was selected as the cover model for December’s issue of “The Big Issue”, a magazine known for using their proceeds to help the homeless. His issue sold out 20,000 copies within the first two days and has sold over 80,000 copies to date, making it th highest number of copies sold since the magazine’s inception in July 2010.
