First look at tvN’s Hwanhon with Lee Jae-wook, Jung So-min

Character teasers have been released for tvN’s upcoming Hwanhon, featuring lead actors Lee Jae-wook (Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol) and Jung So-min (Monthly Magazine Home).
The fantasy romance takes place in a mystical land called Daeho that cannot be located by any map and doesn’t appear in any historical records. There, Lee Jae-wook is a member of the noble Jang clan, while Jung So-min is a skilled warrior. But the destiny of our two heroes is forever altered when their souls become changed.

The first video teaser begins with Lee Jae-wook amidst a cold, wintry landscape, where he sits before a small fire. After staring off into the distance, he tosses an unmarked book into the fire to burn. However, as if turning back time, the charred book rewinds back to its original state. The teaser then comes to a close on Lee as he stares intently into the camera.

Jung So-min’s teaser starts in a warm, spring field where Jung practices her swordsmanship alone. As the camera zooms in on her eyes, we see them light up and we transition to a sequence of a darker and magically powerful Jung within her. Returning back to the Jung in the field, the second teaser ends similarly with her close-up as she gazes into the camera.
Premiering June 18 in the weekend slot, Hwanhon was directed by PD Park Joon-hwa (What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim, Because This Life Is Our First) with scripts penned by the Hong Sisters, Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran (Hotel Del Luna, Hwayugi).
