Shownu and Minhyuk, members of the K-pop group MONSTA X were highlighted by Forbes, a U.S. economic magazine, for their first OST release since their debut.

Forbes, a renowned U.S. business magazine, posted a column titled “Monsta X Continue To Expand 2020 Music Activities With Shownu & Minhyuk’s Duet” on its website and official SNS on September 14, which gained attention and interest from local and international fans.

“MONSTA X has been engaged in various global activities including Korean, English and Japanese tracks, mixtapes, and OSTs until 2020,” Forbes said. “And now, two top vocalists in the group are expanding their musical spectrum as K-POP boy groups by releasing new duet OST songs,” added by Senior Contributor Jeff Benjamin, noting the duet between Shownu and Minhyuk.

As part of the upcoming webtoon-based drama titled, “She’s My Type,” the two well-known K-pop artists teamed up for an Original Sound Track (OST) collaboration.

The song titled, “Have a Goodnight” is not only meaningful for fans because of the collaboration between the MONSTA X members, but it is also their first OST since debut.

Meanwhile, the song “Have a Goodnight,” is a touching, classic R&B-like good night-song style song that offers a glimpse of the attractive voices of the two vocals, especially in the bridge section of the second verse, Minhyuk’s vocals were combined to show the richness of the song and the wide range of vocal range of each member, followed by an appropriate combination of high and low-pitched voices, according to Forbes.

It was ranked 5th on the Billboard 200 chart, ranked 7th on the Rolling Stone “Top 200 Albums” and 1st on the Radio Disney’s “Top Radio Disney Songs” chart, and has shown growth in the music market around the world. In June, it was put on the U.S. Time 100 Talks as a performer on the U.S. Time magazine’s event “Time 100 Tops” and the U. Live platform in August.

Meanwhile, MONSTA X (Shownu. Minhyuk). Kihyun, Hyungwon, Jooheon.I.M. are preparing for a new album to release it this fall. Minhyuk is currently the MC of SBS’ “Inkigayo.”
