Go Bo-kyul takes charge of The Heavenly Idol Kim Min-kyu

A new teaser has arrived for tvN’s fantasy rom-com The Heavenly Idol, taking the perspective of our heroine Go Bo-kyul (Hi Bye, Mama!) as she tries to come to terms with her idol bias Kim Min-kyu (Business Proposal) suddenly acting odd.
Kim Dal (Go Bo-kyul) is a fervent fan and manager of the Wild Animal idol group with Woo Yeon-woo (Kim Min-kyu) being her favorite member. But what she doesn’t realize, of course, is that Yeon-woo’s body has somehow been taken over by a high priest named Rembrary – who comes from a mystical other world.

The new teaser begins with Rembrary introducing himself as the head of the priests while Dal decides that he’s crazy. Our hero is then taken straight to the doctor, who calls for the head of psychiatry. As Dal wails that “Yeon-woo” has completely changed, the appearing text screens relay her thoughts: “My bias has become a little strange.”
Dal begs Rembrary to try to remember who he is and she worries that the situation might get worse for him. We watch as his group members chase after Rembrary to bring him back to the doctor, but Rembrary promptly passes out. Dal cries as she tries to slap him awake and he weakly tells her that it hurts.
We then jump to Dal trying to motivate Rembrary with the goal of winning a music award. Tak Jae-hoon (Dark Hole) teaches Rembrary to dance while Dal keeps the energy going by guiding Rembrary through recordings. The teaser comes to a close with Dal finally introducing herself, “I am Kim Dal, the road manager of Wild Animal starting today.”
Written by Lee Chun-geum with PD Park So-yeon and PD Lee So-yoon co-directing, tvN’s The Heavenly Idol premieres February 15, following Poong the Joseon Psychiatrist 2 in the Wednesday-Thursday slot.
