Honey Lee moonlights as the masked heroine in Knight Flower
by lovepark
MBC’s upcoming sageuk-comedy Knight Flower has dropped another teaser of its moonlighting masked heroine played by the charming and funny Honey Lee (One the Woman). During the day, our heroine pretends to be a dutiful widow, but as soon as night falls, she springs into action.
While a woman screams for help, Jo Yeo-hwa (Honey Lee) takes out her sword to accomplish what must be done. Dressed in all black, our crime-fighting heroine takes down a room full of enemies, but things take a turn (quite literally) when she spins in the arms of officer Park Su-ho, played by Lee Jong-won (The Golden Spoon).
Her safely guarded double life is now at risk, and it appears that Su-ho is out to expose her secret. As Yeo-hwa escapes with a little girl, she chucks her shoe at Su-ho and orders him to stop following her. Our strait-laced officer, though, believes that rules exist for a reason and will stop at nothing to catch her.

The chase begins between our two leads, and Yeo-hwa haughtily claims that she won’t be caught so easily. However, the moment she lays eyes on Su-ho’s abs, her tune changes, and Yeo-hwa fans herself to no avail.
Though Yeo-hwa’s servants warn her against these nighttime escapades, she continues jumping over walls and almost gets caught by her father-in-law Kim Sang-joong (The Banker). Despite the dangers, Yeo-hwa seems intent on maintaining this ruse as she dons a mustache and vows to show how threatening she can be. Of course, life doesn’t always go as planned, and from the way Yeo-hwa carries a punctured bag, wipes ink on her face, and tumbles on the ground, she appears equal parts badass and clumsy.
Directed by PDs Jang Tae-yoo (Lovers of the Red Sky), Choi Jung-in (On the Verge of Insanity), and Lee Chang-woo, with scripts written by Lee Saem and Jung Myung-in, MBC’s Knight Flower is slated for twelve episodes and will premiere on January 12 in the Friday-Saturday slot.
