KARA‘s Jiyoung is a major fan of IU and was excited to appear on IU’s Palette. She was even one of the many celebrities who attended The Golden Hour concert and recently revealed why it made her emotional when watching.
Wanting to know if there were any moments when KARA missed being together, IU asked the members when they missed performing the most. Jiyoung admitted she had one of those moments during the opening of IU’s concert.
When I saw your concert, I never forgot the opening because you started it with your voice only. ‘The Golden Hour.’ I really got chills [at] that moment.

Jiyoung was so moved by IU’s concert opening that it reminded her of KARA.
Seeing IU make the stage her own made Jiyoung want to be back on stage with the KARA members again. The thought was so sudden even Jiyoung didn’t know why it came to her at that moment.
You were so stunning that you filled the whole place. I thought, ‘I want to be with the members on stage.’
Suddenly I was thinking of it watching IU’s concert. ‘Why do I think of our members?’

Jiyoung admitted that it made her emotional to the point of tears, “I got all choked up. I got mixed feelings.” IU didn’t think it was unusual at all. She said, “I know that feeling.”
When you miss someone, sometimes it comes out in unexpected ways. IU understood that when Jiyoung got emotional just from hearing the concert opening.
