Park Jung Min of SS501 will make a surprise comeback after a two-year hiatus in Korea.
“SS501 Park Jung Min has confirmed his comeback in Korea by releasing his digital single ‘ ‘찰떡궁합 (Perfect Match)’ in November,” his agency OlaT Entertainment announced on Monday.
The new song, ” ‘찰떡궁합’,” is a cozy and comfortable acoustic ballad song that offers a lovely, sweet harmony that combines Park Jung Miin’s soft, sweet mid- and low-pitched voice. It will be released both in Korea and Japanese, as well as the song and music videos that will be released in both countries have different versions.

Along with the K-pop icon, is the refreshing and pure voice of new girl group PIXY member Ella, who will be featured in the song. In particular, the Japanese version of the song is drawing more attention as Park Jung Min wrote the lyrics himself.
Park Jung Min’s upcoming album is drawing more attention from fans and K-pop enthusiasts as it is his first album since “ROMEO” activities in about two years since ” Wind is Coming” which was released last October 2018.
Currently, Park Jung-min has established a solid position in the music industry by gaining recognition for his unique concept and visuals. In addition, the public has high expectations for the new album, which will be released in about two years, as Park Jung-min has created his own music color by expanding the spectrum in areas such as dramas and musicals.

An official from the agency said, “Park Jung-min has been focusing on overseas activities such as Japan and Vietnam. “It’s a ballad song that I put my heart and soul into for domestic fans as it’s been a long time since I released a single in Korea,” he said.
Jung Min added, “I recorded it with a sweet voice and a duet with a junior of my favorite agency, so please look forward to it.”
On the other hand, Jung Min is a K-pop idol who debuted in 2005 as a member of K-pop boy group SS501 under DSP Entertainment. In 2010, he left the agency but then cleared that he’s still part of the group.
Since then, he has been more active on his schedule in Asian countries including Japan, Taiwan as well as parts of South and Latin America such as Peru and Mexico.

In 2015 Park Jung Min enlisted and was discharged in 2017, followed by his last album in Korea last 2018, before his upcoming return this November.
In terms of having a comeback with SS501, Jung Min expressed in an interview his earnest feelings about it, and said that he wants to do it though due to the individual circumstances of the members, it is hard yet possible,
On October 12, he joined OlaT Entertainment and is expected to have acting and drama projects in the near future, along with his active schedules in Japan and Vietnam.
