The Chinese fan base of BLACKPINK’s Jennie is gearing up for her 4th debut anniversary as an idol with an extravagant gift!
With the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK celebrating fourth anniversary on August 8, Jennie’s Chinese fandom is also generating massive attention. According to “CHINAJENNIEBAR,” photos celebrating Jennie’s fourth anniversary will be displayed on the big day at Ladybug, an artificial satellite orbiting the Earth. The image celebrating Jennie’s fourth anniversary is expected to be expressed in a glowing form.
China Geniva reportedly did not raise a separate fund for fans to celebrate Jennie’s fourth anniversary of her debut.
BLACKPINK debuted on August 8, 2016.The debut song “Whistle” topped all domestic music charts within four hours of its release, hinting a bright future for BLACKPINK. They stood tall as a leading K-pop girl group with numerous hits, such as “Boombayah,” “Playing with Fire,” “STAY,” “As If It’s Your Last,” “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” ” Forever Young” and “Kill This Love.”
Jennie, with the persistent increase of her popularity as the second-most followed K-pop idol on Instagram next to her co-member Lisa, suffice it to say that a plethora is giving a constant eye on her activities. Earlier this year, she launched her eyewear collection Jentle Home, in collaboration with Gentle Monster. It was such an instant and gigantic success that the purchasing website crashed on the first day due to surmounting inquiries worldwide.
In 2019, Jennie went out with EXO’s main dancer, Kai. Dispatch released photos of the two dating. It was denied by their agencies, but later on released a statement that they have moved on their separated ways.
Jennie has been noted for her sweet aura and cat-like features. But despite her charms and talents, she has been the receiving end of dislike for zero reasons at all, such as her way of dancing and being speculated as the favorite among the members. But Lisa, Jisoo, and Rose remain unbothered from the get-go and have always expressed their fondness of Jennie.
BLACKPINK made another spike with their pre-released song “How You Like That,” released in June. Following their second new song on August 28, the quartet will release their first full-length album in four years since debut on October 2.
