Jung So Min may be starring in Hong Sisters’ upcoming drama.
On July 8, an industry representative reported that the actress will be playing the female lead in the new tvN drama “Hwan Hon” (romanized title), which means the return of someone’s soul after death.
In response to the report, Jung So Min agency Blossom Entertainment clarified, “It is true that she was offered a role in ‘Hwan Hon,’ but her [appearance in the drama] has not been confirmed.”
It was revealed earlier in the day that Park Hae Eun, who was previously announced for the leading female role, has left the drama.
Other actors who have been offered roles in “Hwan Hon” include Lee Jae Wook, NU’EST’s Minhyun, Oh My Girl’s Arin, Oh Na Ra, and Joo Sang Wook.
“Hwan Hon” is written by hit screenwriter duo Hong Sisters, known for dramas including “My Girl,” “You’re Beautiful,” “My Girlfriend is a Gumiho,” “The Greatest Love,” “Master’s Sun,” “Hotel Del Luna,” and more. The drama will be directed by Park Joon Hwa of “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim.”
Stay tuned for updates!
