In the latest episode of tvN’s Saturday-Sunday drama “Love Next Door” (written by Shin Ha-eun, directed by Yoo Je-won), aired on the 7th, Bae Seok-ryu (Jung So-min) firmly turned down her ex-fiancé’s attempt at reconciliation.

During the episode, Na Mi-sook (Park Ji-young) confronted Bae Seok-ryu about the end of their engagement, asking, “Is it true that Bae Seok-ryu cheated on me?” and “Why did you break off the engagement?” Song Hyun-joon (Han Jun-woo) admitted fault, leading to Na Mi-sook’s immediate outburst of anger when she learned Bae Seok-ryu was not to blame.

Despite Song Hyun-joon’s pleas, stating, “I came here because I want to be with you. I can’t live without you,” Bae Seok-ryu stood her ground, explaining, “Whether it was you or someone else, the outcome would have been the same. It’s natural to move on after a long relationship.” Song Hyun-joon persisted, declaring, “I still love you,” but Bae Seok-ryu was resolute, replying, “It’s not love, it’s just an old habit. We’re done. Please don’t contact me again.”

Later, Bae Seok-ryu arrived at Jeong Mo-eum’s (Kim Ji-eun) house, reflecting, “It’s calmer than I expected. My heart was racing just thinking about seeing him again before my flight back to Korea.” Jeong Mo-eum reassured her, saying, “That’s a good sign. It seems like your feelings for him are fading.”

Meanwhile, Choi Seung-hyo (Jung Hae-in), unaware of the situation, was anxiously drinking alone at a convenience store. Bae Seok-ryu, gazing at Choi Seung-hyo’s phone number with a distracted look, appeared to be deep in thought.
