Kim Young-dae waits a Moon in the Day for revenge

The newest teaser has landed for ENA’s upcoming fantasy Moon in the Day, where we spend some more time with our tortured hero Kim Young-dae (The Forbidden Marriage) and his star-crossed fate with Pyo Ye-jin (Taxi Driver 2).

After being betrayed and killed by his lover Han Ri-ta (Pyo Ye-jin), Shilla aristocrat Do Ha (Kim Young-dae) had lingered on as a restless spirit in the mortal world, determined to one day get his revenge. But the opportunity doesn’t arrive until centuries later, when Do Ha’s spirit takes over the body of top star Han Jun-oh.

In the teaser, we begin with Do Ha’s resolve: “It took a long time to stand before you like this. This time, I’ll make sure to kill you first.” And in the accompanying text screen, we also read: “I met you at the end of 1500 years of waiting.”

With no memory of her past life though, Ri-ta’s reincarnation – firefighter turned bodyguard Kang Young-hwa – is confused by Do Ha’s behavior. She reminds him that, “I’m the person who came to save you,” and the appearing text screen tells us that we’re strapped in for a “dangerous and loving reincarnation romance.”

Proving that Young-hwa is sincere, we watch as she protects Do Ha from a car accident, warning him in the moment, “Han Jun-oh, get out of the way!” Do Ha is thus conflicted and we close the teaser as he thinks about their twisted fate: “You and me. It seems things will not match up for us till the end.”

Written by Kim Hye-won with PD Pyo Min-soo (The Third Charm, The Producers) at the helm, ENA’s webtoon adaptation Moon in the Day will be premiering next week on November 1.
