Kim Nam-gil is set to make his return with SBS’s highly anticipated drama ‘The Fiery Priest 2,’ premiering on November 8.
‘The Fiery Priest 2’ promises to deliver an ‘extreme cooperation, quick-witted comic investigation drama,’ continuing the story of Kim Hae-il (played by Kim Nam-gil), a fiery priest known for his explosive temper and strong sense of justice. This season, Kim Hae-il travels to Busan to tackle a drug case in Gudam-gu.
The first season of ‘The Fiery Priest,’ which aired in 2019, concluded with a strong viewership rating of 22%, and the confirmation of Season 2 has generated significant excitement. In this new installment, Kim Nam-gil will reunite with Honey Lee and Kim Sung-kyun after five years, and singer-actress Kim Hyung-seo (BIBI) will join the cast as a new character.
Adding to the intrigue, Sung Joon and Seo Hyun Woo will appear as new villains, hinting at a broader and more complex storyline. Additionally, Ji Seung Hyun, known for his recent role as the ‘nation’s cheater,’ will make a special appearance, promising to add an extra layer of fun to the drama.
