New Curtain Call teaser intros our characters and looming love square
by missvictrix
For all the buzz around this drama, KBS sure is keeping a tight lid on their promo materials! However, Curtain Call does have a new second teaser that’s making an appearance on the interwebs, and it shows us five of our primary characters.
First we see our struggling stage actor and hero Yoo Jae-hun, played by Kang Haneul (Insider). He’s rightly flabbergasted when he enters Hotel Paradise and in voiceover we hear him say how much he wants to be a “real” actor, and to be able to encourage even just one person through his art.
Next is our heroine Park Se-yeon – played by Ha Ji-won (Chocolate) – who is the youngest granddaughter of the chaebol group behind Hotel Paradise. We see her with her dear grandma (played by Go Du-shim) wondering what sort of person her grandma’s long-lost grandson might be.

Kwon Sang-woo (Critical X) is featured next — he plays Bae Dong-jae, another chaebol heir who gets entangled with the Hotel Paradise power structure… and was once engaged to Se-yeon. In the teaser, we see him (unhappily) observing Jae-hun and Se-yeon’s growing closeness.
Meanwhile, Jung Ji-so (Doom at Your Service) plays Seo Yoon-hee, a “genius” lawyer who’s living her best life as a no-name actor — and she has a budding crush on our hero. Already a love square!
Last but not least, in our closing shots we see Noh Sang-hyun (Pachinko) as the mysterious Ri Moon-sung who’s involved in a drug crime ring and the smuggling trade in and out of North Korea.
Directed by PD Yoon Sang-ho (Jinxed at First, River Where the Moon Rises) and written by Jo Sung-keol (The Target), Curtain Call premieres October 31.
