- PD Kim Sung-yoon is launching a new variety show called Youth MT, gathering actors from his last three dramas and taking them on a big group trip. From Moonlight Drawn By Clouds, we have: Park Bo-gum, Kim Yoo-jung, Jinyoung, Chae Soo-bin, and Kwak Dong-yeon. The Itaewon Class team includes: Park Seo-joon, Ahn Bo-hyun, Kwon Nara, Ryu Kyung-soo, and Lee Joo-young. Finally, from the more recent The Sound of Magic: Ji Chang-wook, Choi Sung-eun, Hwang In-yub, Ji Hye-won, and Kim Bo-yoon. The TVING show will be dropping next month on September 9. [News1]
- Netflix’s Narco-Saints has put out its first poster along with confirmation of a September 9 start date. The crime-action has an impressive lineup with Ha Jung-woo (The Closet, Hit), Hwang Jung-min (Hush), Park Hae-soo (Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area), Jo Woo-jin (Happiness), and Yoo Yeon-seok (Hospital Playlist 2) among others. Taiwanese actor Chang Chen (Dune) will be making a special appearance as well. Written and directed by Yoon Jong-bin (The Spy Gone North), screenwriter Kwon Sung-hwi (The Closet) also co-wrote the scripts. [News1]
- Character stills have dropped for ENA’s Good Job, featuring our dapper chaebol extraordinaire Jung Il-woo (Bossam: Steal the Fate), and our super-sighted heroine in disguise, Kwon Yuri (Bossam: Steal the Fate). Premiering in just a few weeks on August 24, PD Kang Min-gu and PD Kim Sung-jin are at the helm with scripts co-written by Kim Jung-ae and Kwon Hee-kyung. [News1 (1), (2)]
- Kim Min-seok (Lovestruck in the City) has been keeping busy with TVING’s Shark: The Storm and JTBC’s Bloody Romance already lined up on his schedule. Now, alongside Winner’s Kim Jin-woo (Love for a Thousand More), the two are the said to be joining Minah (My Absolute Boyfriend) and Yoon Chan-young (All of Us Are Dead) in ENA’s supernatural drama Delivery Man. - Netflix film Seoul Vibe takes us back to 1988 with another colorfully retro poster and video trailer. The action-comedy stars Yoo Ah-in (Hellbound), Go Kyung-pyo (Private Lives), Lee Kyu-hyung (Voice 4), Park Joo-hyun (Love All Play), and Ong Sung-woo (More Than Friends) among others. With director Moon Hyun-sung (The King’s Case Note) as the talent behind the camera, the movie releases later this month on August 26. [Sports Donga]
- The many faces and tracksuits of Lee Seung-gi (Mouse) are showcased in KBS’s newest stills for Love According to Law, along with Lee Se-young (The Red Sleeve Cuff) looking fashion-fabulous as she cleans. The friends-to-lovers romance also stars Kim Seul-gi (Find Me in Your Memory) and Oh Dong-min (Memorials), and will be gracing our screens come September 5. [News1 (1), (2)]
