- Lee Do-hyun (Melancholia) and Ra Mi-ran (Dr. Park’s Clinic) are up to play mother and son in JTBC’s new drama Bad Mom. If Lee accepts, he’ll be playing the part of a prosecutor who loses his memory of his adulthood and reverts to his child self. Aiming to broadcast early next year, PD Shim Na-yeon (Beyond Evil) is attached to direct with writing by Bae Se-young. [Sports Donga]
- A suspenseful new video teaser has dropped for tvN’s Blind, questioning who we can trust among our main trio: Taecyeon (Secret Royal Inspector and Joy), Jung Eun-ji (Work Later, Drink Now), and Ha Suk-jin (A DeadbEAT’s Meal). The crime-thriller will be coming to our screens on September 16, in the Friday-Saturday slot. [Osen]
- MBC’s newest poster for Golden Spoon has our four leads in pomp and splendor: Yook Sung-jae (Mystic Pop-up Bar), Lee Jong-won (Hospital Playist 2), Jung Chae-yeon (The King’s Affection), and Yeonwoo (Dal-li and Gamjatang). Premiering next month on September 23, the fantasy has PD Song Hyun-wook (The King’s Affection) and PD Lee Han-joon at the helm, with scripts co-written by Yoon Eun-kyung (Prime Minister and I) and Kim Eun-hee. - There’s finally been some movement on JTBC’s upcoming The Empire of Law (roughly translated), with newly released character stills of their lineup: Kim Sun-ah (Secret Boutique), Ahn Jae-wook (Mouse), Lee Mi-sook (Let Me Introduce Her), Song Young-chang (The Good Detective 2), Shin Gu (Kairos), and Oh Hyun-kyung (Young Lady and Gentleman). Written by Oh Ga-kyu and directed by PD Yoo Hyun-ki, the drama will be airing weekends starting September 24. [Sports Donga]
- JTBC is also lining up a new mystery called Miracle Brothers (roughly translated), the newest drama by the duo who created A Beautiful World: PD Park Chan-hong and writer Kim Ji-woo. Still in the planning stages, the cast currently includes Jung Woo (A Model Family), Lee Ki-woo (My Liberation Notes), and Bae Hyun-sung (Our Blues). [MBC]
- EXID’s Hani (Idol: The Coup) will be headlining a new Coupang Play drama called Their Report Card (roughly translated). There isn’t much information about the story yet, but we’re told that the focus will be on women and their experiences with dating and love. [Xports News]

- Over on tvN, the promos continue for Little Women with another new teaser, featuring the story’s three sisters: Kim Go-eun (Yumi’s Cells 2), Nam Ji-hyun (The Witch’s Diner), and Park Ji-hoo (All of Us Are Dead). It was also announced that Song Joong-ki will be making a special appearance, in loyalty to the show’s director who worked with Song on Vincenzo. [Osen (1), (2)]
- KBS’s upcoming weekender Three Brave Siblings released new stills of their leads, Lee Hana (Voice 4), Im Joo-hwan (The Spies Who Loved Me), and Kim So-eun (Lonely Enough to Love). The family drama will be launching this September, following It’s Beautiful Now. [News1 (1), (2)]
