- It’s a busy, busy week for Joo Ji-hoon (Jirisan), who may finally be returning to romance (yay!) after MBC’s Goong, which aired almost two decades ago in 2006. Joo’s agency confirmed that he’s considering an offer for tvN’s Meeting Love on a Log Bridge (roughly translated), which has PD Park Joon-hwa (Alchemy of Souls) at the helm and writing by Im Ye-jin (The Tale of Nokdu). - In the meantime, new stills have dropped for tvN’s upcoming Wedding Impossible, where we get our first look at the kind but secretive chaebol Kim Do-wan (Doona). Also starring his soon-to-be fake bride Jeon Jong-seo (Bargain) and his objecting younger brother Moon Sang-min (Duty After School), the rom-com premieres on February 26 in the Monday-Tuesday slot. - Yeo Jin-gu (Link – Eat Love Kill) is in talks to become a secret runaway prince in the sageuk rom-com Serenade. Set against the backdrop of a fictional Joseon, the series is currently being planned with PD Noh Jong-chan (Idol: The Coup, Cruel Palace – War of the Flowers) attached to direct and scripts penned by Kim Mi-hee. - Freshly discharged from army duty, Lee Tae-hwan (Thirty-Nine) is reviewing a role in TV Chosun’s DNA Lover for his first project back to work, potentially joining Choi Siwon (Death’s Game) and Jung In-sun (Let Me Be Your Knight) in the lineup. Production for the rom-com is being led by PD Sung Chi-wook (Tomorrow) and writer Jung Soo-mi (Born Again). [Star News]
- A dark bundle of stills have come out for Netflix’s A Killer Paradox, showcasing our cat-and-mouse leads, Choi Woo-shik (Our Beloved Summer) and Sohn Seok-gu (D.P. 2). Directed by PD Lee Chang-hee (Hell Is Other People) with Kim Da-min writing, the crime-thriller and webtoon adaptation will be coming to our screens on February 9. [News1]
- It’s a feast of photos this week with KBS also releasing stills for Let’s Get Grabbed by the Collar, featuring cop Yeon Woo-jin (Title) and chaebol-novelist Jang Seung-jo (Death’s Game).
