  • The first poster is out for tvN’s adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel, Little Women, featuring leads Kim Go-eun (Yumi’s Cells 2), Nam Ji-hyun (The Witch’s Diner), and Park Ji-hoo (All of Us Are Dead). With scripts by screenwriter Jung Seo-kyung (Mother, Lady Vengeance) and directing by PD Kim Hee-won (Vincenzo), the mystery drama premieres this coming September in the weekend slot. [News1]
  • Lee Min-ki (My Liberation Notes) and Han Ji-min (Our Blues) are on the casting table for a new drama called Hip (roughly translated). If they accept, it’ll be reunions all around with production led by PD Kim Seok-yoon (My Liberation Notes, The Light in Your Eyes) and writer Lee Nam-kyu (The Light in Your Eyes).   • Over on Netflix, the Suzy (Anna) and Yang Se-jong (My Country: The New Age) pairing has been confirmed for the webtoon adaptation The Girl Downstairs. The roomies-to-lovers romance stars Suzy as a retired idol who goes back to school and moves into a share house where Yang’s character also lives. With PD Lee Jung-hyo (Crash Landing on You) at the helm, filming began earlier this month. [Joy News]
  • Casting continues for tvN’s High Priest Rembrary with Tak Jae-hoon (Marrying the Mafia IV) now joining the lineup as Kim Min-kyu’s (Business Proposal) singer sunbae. Outside of guest appearances, this will be Tak’s first acting gig in over 10 years. The web novel adaptation is currently in the planning stages and is aiming for a 2023 release. [YTN]

  • A new poster and trailer has dropped for the Netflix film Seoul Vibe, directed by Moon Hyun-sung (The King’s Case Note, As One). Coming to our screens on August 26, the star-studded cast includes Yoo Ah-in (Hellbound), Go Kyung-pyo (Private Lives), Lee Kyu-hyung (Voice 4), Park Joo-hyun (Love All Play), and Ong Sung-woo (More Than Friends). Not to mention Moon Sori (On the Verge of Insanity), Kim Sung-kyun (Grid), Oh Jung-se (Uncle), and Jung Woong-in (Rose Mansion). [News1]
  • After releasing stills of its leads, KBS’s Love According to Law has now dropped a look at one of the supporting characters, Psychiatrist Kim Nam-hee (High Class), pictured with his younger cousin and office landlord Lee Seung-gi (Mouse).
