- While we await for the premiere of Stealer: The Treasure Keeper, Joo-won (Alice) is fielding offers for his next project and is considering a new thoughtful romance called Nighttime Photo Studio (roughly translated). If he accepts, Joo-won will be playing a photographer who takes photo of the dead and his encounter with one woman in particular leads him to realize how precious life can be. [Newsen]
- MBC’s new fantasy romance The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract (roughly translated) has added Yoo Seon-ho (Under the Queen’s Umbrella) to the cast, going from royal brothers to chaebol half-brothers with Bae In-hyuk (Cheer Up). The webtoon adaptation will be centered around Lee Se-young (The Law Cafe) as a 19th century Joseon woman who time travels to present day. [Star News]
- The first poster is out for SBS’s third season of Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim, bringing back the irascible Han Seok-gyu (Recipe For Farewell) as the heart of our story along with Season 2’s Ahn Hyo-seop (Business Proposal) and Lee Sung-kyung (Call It Love) – among many other familiar faces. The new third season begins this April, following Taxi Driver 2 in the weekend slot. [SBS]
- A new video teaser has dropped for KBS’s upcoming weekender The Real Deal Has Come, unveiling more about our parents-to-be played by Baek Jin-hee (Happy to Die) and Ahn Jae-hyun (People with Flaws). I’m liking the energy so far and it’s making me hopeful for a fun and heartwarming family drama, come March 25. [Osen]
- KBS is wasting no time now that Real Deal will be on the docks later this month and has already started working on their next weekender, Hyo-shim’s Independent Life (roughly translated). With scripts by Jo Jung-sun (Mother of Mine), production is currently at the casting stage and UEE (Ghost Doctor) is in discussions for the lead role. [Star News]
- Kim Nam-joo (Misty) is preparing for her drama comeback and is reviewing an offer for Wonderful World (working title). The suspense-revenge story follows our heroine in the aftermath of her son’s wrongful death and is determined to make the perpetrators pay when the law lets them off with just a slap on the wrist. Still in the planning stages, PD Lee Seung-young (Tracer, Voice 2) is attached to direct. [Star News]
- New stills have finally been released for ENA’s Paper Moon, finally giving us a glimpse of others in the main cast, including Yoo Sun (Eve), Seo Young-hee (Would You Like a Cup of Coffee), Lee Chun-hee (Law School), and Gong Jung-hwan (Imitation). With Kim Seo-hyung (Mine) in the leading role, the suspense-thriller premieres in April. [MBC]
