TVING has a new fantasy-action in the works called Island, starring Kim Nam-gil (Through the Darkness), Lee Da-hee (Love is for Suckers), Cha Eun-woo (True Beauty), and Sung Joon (Perfect Wife). Based on a popular comic by the same title, which was later remastered into a webtoon, the drama will be launching this December with PD Bae Jong at the helm and writing by Oh Bo-hyun. [News1]

JTBC’s new romance Understanding of Love announced their lineup as well, which includes Yoo Yeon-seok (Narco-Saints), Moon Ga-young (Link: Eat, Love, Kill), Geum Sae-rok (Youth of May), and Jung Ga-ram (Love Alarm 2). Slated to broadcast towards the end of the year, directing is helmed by PD Jo Young-min (Do You Like Brahms) with scripts co-written by Lee Seo-hyun and Lee Hyun-jung. [News1]

tvN is working on a new drama called House With a Yard and casting offers have been made to actors Kim Tae-hee (Hi Bye, Mama!), Im Ji-yeon (Rose Mansion), and Kim Sung-oh (Money Heist: Joint Economic Area). The suspense-thriller is planning to air in 2023 and has PD Jung Ji-hyun (Twenty Five Twenty One, Search Query: WWW) attached to direct. [10 Asia]
Over on MBC, the premiere of their next Wednesday-Thursday drama May I Help You is coming in a little over a week, and new stills have been released of our OTP’s first encounter. Starring Hyeri (Moonshine) and Jun (a.k.a. Lee Jun-young) (Let Me Be Your Knight) as the ultimate helpers – of both the living and the dead – the fantasy rom-com premieres October 19. [MBC]

The second teaser has dropped for TVING’s upcoming Bargain, featuring our questionable heroes: Jin Seon-gyu (Through the Darkness), Jeon Jong-seo (Money Heist Korea: Joint Economic Area), and Jang Ryul (Golden Spoon). The disaster-thriller will be launching on TVING’s platform on October 28. [JTBC]
Disney+’s Shadow Detective released more posters and another stylistic video teaser, this time featuring Lee Sung-min (Juvenile Justice) along with his partner on the case Jin Gu (Superior Day). The crime drama will be coming to our screens later this month on October 26. [YTN]
