“Itaewon Class” Park Seo-jun says goodbye to his chestnut hair and says hello to pineapple hair in his most recent Instagram update.

His post came with a caption of an emoticon of a chestnut with the symbol “x” next to it, and then a pineapple with an “o” symbol.  The photo is with him sporting short spiky hair.

Pineapple hairstyle was first made famous by Taiwanese actor Jerry Yan who played the role of Dao Ming-su in “Meteor Garden”.

Seo-jun embraced the chestnut hairstyle since he started playing the character Park Sae-royi.  He revealed earlier that he needed to get a haircut every four days to maintain the look.

It’s a haircut he proudly wore.

But now, it seems he is ready to say goodbye to the beloved Sae-royi and looking forward to the next role that he will take on.

He is currently in talks with the drama starring actress Jun Ji-hyun (“My Love From the Star,” “Legend of the Blue Sea”).  The drama “Mount Jiri” is written by Kingdom writer “Kim Eun-hee”.
