On an upcoming episode of MBC‘s Video Star, the show will feature various entertainers that have been working on live streams from home, including magician Choi Hyun Woo and drag artist Nana Youngrong Kim, rapper Queen Wasabi, and of course, DJ Soda.
DJ Soda is a popular DJ globally, with 4 million followers on her Instagram. Recently she even won 13th place globally in the DJANE TOP 100 rankings for female DJs, making her the 1st place Asian Female DJ for the 3rd year in a row. She has played at various festivals including Ultra Music Festival in the United States.
On the episode she claimed that not only has she received love calls for collaborations from global artists including the Black Eyed Peas, Chainsmokers and Don Diablo, she was also asked out by a Korean idol before!
As social media is a form of contact, she revealed that she had received DMs from certain stars before that expressed their interest in her. Not only is she popular with local celebrities, it seems that her charms expand even to international waters as foreign artists have also done the same. She names the number at over 10!
