Reasons to watch: The promotions for this drama have practically been a drama in themselves — so fun, so campy, so much meta. If the drama itself keeps on the same track, we’ll be lucky enough to have an oddball drama in the vein of Zombie Detective, but with Taecyeon. And fake fangs. And tons of not-deeply-hidden 2PM jokes. And also ~romance~.
At the core of our story is a vampire who wants to become human and fall in love (and perhaps not in that order). When he starts cohabitating with the woman who owns the house where his coffin lies in the attic, his undead heart might just start beating. For a drama that’s in it for the laughs and embracing the ridiculousness, I think the only way it can fail us is if it starts taking itself too seriously. Don’t do that, Show. Embrace the camp!
