Reasons to watch: The makjang is coming to tvN in the shape of Pandora: Beneath the Paradise, and from the looks of it, they are sparing no expense to make this a glorious cornucopia indeed. Lee Jia plays our heroine — living a picture-perfect glamorous life — until, well, she’s not. And here comes the makjang: she has amnesia and can’t remember her past, her entire life has been a lie, she has a secret identity, it’s possible she’s been living in a gilded cage, her perfect marriage to Lee Sang-yoon is on the line, and she must also seek out revenge. And honestly, I’m sure there’s more that’s gonna turn up. It should be a blast, if you like a sumptuous, gothic level to your storytelling.
