The production team for Resident Playbook has addressed recent reports about the show’s airing schedule. On September 14, the team clarified that the show will not be broadcast this year, stating, “We are currently coordinating the schedule.”

Resident Playbook is a spinoff of Hospital Playlist that had two successful seasons. Resident Playbook explores the realistic lives and friendships of university hospital professors and residents. Cast includes Go Youn-Jung, Shin Shi-Ah, Kang Yoo-Seok, Jung Joon-Won, and Han Ye-Ji.

Originally slated for release in the first half of this year, the show was delayed due to a strike by medical residents and is still in the process of rescheduling. The prolonged strike by university hospital medical staff, sparked by mass resignations in response to the government’s policy to increase medical school admissions, has contributed to the uncertainty surrounding the broadcast date for Resident Playbook.
