Taxi Driver 3 is gearing up for full-scale production.
On the 8th, an SBS official told OSEN, “We are in positive discussions with actors Lee Je-hoon, Kim Eui-sung, and Pyo Ye-jin to join Taxi Driver 3.”
Regarding reports that the series is scheduled to air in 2025, they stated, “We are still discussing the airing date.”
The drama Model Taxi is a private revenge story in which the covert taxi company Rainbow Transport and its driver, Kim Do-gi, seek vengeance on behalf of innocent victims. Season 1 aired in 2021, followed by Season 2 in 2023.
Notably, Taxi Driver 2 premiered with a high viewership rating of 12.1% for its first episode and concluded with 21%, making it the only mini-series in 2023 to surpass 20%. As a result, Lee Je-hoon won the Grand Prize at the 2023 SBS Drama Awards.
With the production of Taxi Driver 3 underway, Lee Je-hoon is swiftly confirming his participation and preparing for filming. An official from his agency, Company, informed OSEN, “Lee Je-hoon has confirmed his appearance in Taxi Driver 3.”
As Lee Je-hoon’s involvement is secured, production is moving forward, with Pyo Ye-jin and Kim Eui-sung also considering their roles positively.
I wonder if we have Madame Lim coming back too. I want Shim So-young to reprise her role once more.
