While Carats were delighted to find out just how close Jun was to the China-line of NCT Dream, you may be shocked to realize the extent of how personable the SEVENTEEN boys can get.
A few weeks ago, the boys were featured in a trending post as fans went crazy when they saw that Apink‘s Son Naeun had filmed the “Left & Right” challenge with Hoshi and Vernon.
Many expressed their amazement that the boys had managed to get close to one of the most famously reserved idols ever, who was never seen interacting with male idols or celebrities other than for work unless they were BTOB. Fans also listed out other idols and celebrities that had participated in the challenge, implying the likability and broad network of SEVENTEEN.
Fellow Apink member, Eunji, even participated a few days later when two of the members guested on her radio show.
Not only are SEVENTEEN becoming fast friends with Apink, but vocalist Seungkwan also was in the spotlight for his friendships with many idols nunas. On various variety shows, he was seen referring to some girl group members as nuna, including GFRIEND‘s Eunha and Yuju, as well as Red Velvet‘s Seulgi and Joy.
As in Korea, one has to be of a certain level of closeness to drop formalities and refer to each other comfortably using nuna, many K-Carats were surprised at just how broad his networks were. Fans expressed their surprise especially, at his friendship with the entire of GFRIEND!
Member Vernon is also known for his friendship with the M.O.L.A crew, including producer NTHN, Jamie (formerly Park Jimin) and Woodz (Cho Seungyeon), while Mingyu is part of the iconic 97-line including ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo, NCT‘s Jaehyun, GOT7‘s Yugyeom and BTS‘s Jungkook.
The idol industry is a tough one to survive in, so becoming real friends with other idols whom are basically your co-workers and colleagues must be a real comfort! Perhaps in the future we will get to see more moments of true friendship between SEVENTEEN and other idols!
