Looking back at their 15-year career and their continued promotions, the SHINee members were asked if there was any specific moment they wished they could revisit from their past.

SHINee’s Minho, Key, and Taemin took part in the interview, as Onew is currently resting from promotions to focus on his health. The three members thoughtfully shared similar sentiments that they would relive the moments they were on stage in front of Shawols (SHINee’s fans).

Taemin added that there were moments he wished to relive off-stage as well, including “small moments” shared between the five members in their daily lives.

The moments I want to relive are not only from our [stage] careers but I really do want to relive those small moments when the five of us would have meals, talk, and fall asleep together.

While speaking about late member Jonghyun, the topic of performing their songs recorded with all five members was brought up.

Key opened up to Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon about performing their older songs with just four members in a 2021 episode of MBC‘s I Live Alone.

What was hardest for us while performing and stuff was the absence of our vocalist, who is the most important member. It’s like a room was suddenly taken out… When the four of us held a concert in Japan, we had to sing the original songs with just the four of us. We didn’t think of that problem… Everyone must have felt like that. Performing and doing music is fun now, but it was most fun when we were all together.

Referencing this conversation in their recent interview, SHINee was asked how they feel performing their tracks recorded as five members now.

The members agreed that their fans have “been instrumental” in helping the group “recover and strengthen [their] bond with them.” They acknowledged that it’s not always easy, but they’re grateful for Shawols.

Although it’s not always easy, we hope that those who watch our performances never feel a gap or emptiness. The unwavering support and love from our fans have been instrumental in helping us recover and strengthen our bond with them. We’re truly grateful and fortunate, and always genuinely wish for our voices to reach the skies and the heavens when we sing.

As they continue their journey as a group, they consistently honor the memory of fellow member Jonghyun.
