Netflix‘s Korean reality dating show Single’s Inferno became an instant hit, and viewers couldn’t help but fall for the cast.
One favorite among both viewers and fellow contestants was Shin Ji Yeon. The 24-year-old university student captivated everyone with her stunning visuals and intelligence. She studies neuroscience at the University of Toronto in Canada.
Everyone was especially invested in the rollercoaster love story of her and Moon Se Hoon.
To this day, fans still are eager when they share updates, giving hope for a future for the two! So, many have followed them on social media to stay updated.
While Shin Ji Yeon is surely a star, her sister is now a star in her own right!
A social media content creator recently went viral after revealing that they were the sibling of a Single’s Inferno contestant. TikToker juliemajulie (also known as Julie) shared a video on the video-sharing app, participating in a TikTok trend using the 1985 country song “Miami, My Amy” by Keith Whitley. Users usually share a slice-of-life experience followed by stock images of people they might encounter along the way and the common yet odd questions they get asked by them.
So, in juliemajulie’s video, she begins with “what it’s like having a sister who was on singles inferno” while drawing attention to Ji Yeon in the cast group photo.
She then continues to reveal the frequently asked questions and comments she hears due to being related to a Single’s Inferno contestant, such as asking if Ji Yeon and Se Hoon are “really dating” or if the series is scripted.
Considering that the video was part of a current trend and related to a hit show, it went viral! At the time of writing, the video has 2.2 million views and 322.9K likes.

And based on her posts, they do truly resemble each other.
Julie has even previously shared a selfie with Ji Yeon.
It’s safe to say looks run in this family!
Still, she is most popular on TikTok. On the app, she has gained a following of 29.5K with a variety of content…
