“Sisyphus: The Myth” Starts Off With Promising Viewership Ratings, While “Hello, Me!” Premieres To Modest Ratings

JTBC’s new drama “Sisyphus: The Myth” is off to a promising start!

On February 17, two highly anticipated new Korean dramas aired. Staring with JTBC’s new drama “Sisyphus: The Myth” starring Cho Seung Woo and Park Shin Hye.

According to Nielsen Korea, “Sisyphus: The Myth” episode 1 scored average nationwide ratings of 5.6% which is already higher than its predecessor’s rating in that time slot. While “Sisyphus: The Myth” episode 2 saw an even bigger rise, scoring average nationwide ratings of 6.677%, a significant jump from its premiere episode.

The drama is showing great growth potential; there is invested interest in how this drama does for JTBC and whether it’ll be the next big hit for the network or not.

KBS’s “Hello, Me!” which stars Choi Kang Hee and Kim Young Kwang also premiered this week, its first episode scored average ratings of 3.8% and 4.9%. Unfortunately, “Hello, Me!” episode 2 ratings saw a drop with 3.1% and 3.6%.
