In the community platform, theqoo, the netizen also mentioned two agencies from the “Big 3” companies, including SM Entertainment and JYP Entertainment. According to fans, JYP Entertainment is undoubtedly the “girl group master” due to every successful female idol groups that they produced. In terms of popularity, artists coming from this agency have skyrocketing popularity, wide-scale awareness among the public, as well as have a strong impact on the industry.
Some of the well-known female groups under JYP Entertainment are Wonder Girls, Miss A, TWICE, ITZY, and the newly-debuted NiziU.
Starting from Wonder Girls, one of their most prominent milestones is producing hit songs famous around the globe, including “Tell Me,” “So Hot,” and “Nobody.”

SM Entertainment is known for its massive success with producing girl groups. According to netizens and fans, SM female idol groups don’t achieve immediate success, but due to the quality of their music and praiseworthy skills, they built longevity of fame in the music industry.
Some of the girl groups produced by SM Entertainment are SES, which is dubbed as the “Nation’s Fairy Group,” composing of Shoo, Eugene, and Bada. Just right after their debut, they became the best-selling K-pop girl group in Korea for their debut album, “I’m Your Girl.”
