Moonbyul was recently released her second solo album, ECLIPSE. We all saw how she proved her dancing prowess and oozing swagger throughout the whole song while doing what she wants to do, regardless of people’s comments. We cannot deny the song is what a typical boy group would sing and dance to. Moonbyul releasing this song made us love her all the more, shutting down gender stereotypes in the industry and what female idols can and can’t do. It was a total 180 from her previous song, SELFISH and Snow, but the same Moonbyul we all love.
The song was perfectly in theme to MAMAMOO’s new album, Reality in Black, as Solar’s is. We just know Solar is about to spit fire with her queen looks and fierce teaser. She exudes the ‘you can’t sit with us’ vibe. The teaser is for her first solo album release, SPIT IT OUT!
These women keep evolving and stunning us all as we stand by and watch in awe. It was as if their Joker theme from MAMA was the instigator of this era and it paved the way for darker, stronger images they’ve wanted to portray. We wish to give them even more support and attention that they deserve. Cheers to raising the bar in the industry!
