Treechada “Poyd” Petcharat has been dubbed Thailand’s “Most Beautiful Transgender Woman,” and it’s easy to see why.
The 37-year-old actress and model (also known as Nong Poy and Treechada Malayaporn) is stunning. So stunning, in fact, that she won two transgender beauty pageants back in 2004: Miss Tiffany’s and Miss International Queen.
After transitioning from male to female at age 17, Poyd went on to have a successful career as a model and actress. She starred in the Chinese 2014 crime action film The White Storm as well as the 2016 romantic comedy Insomnia Lover.
Nowadays, Poyd is the managing director of her own laboratory and supplement manufacturing company, Biomtpharma, and she keeps fans up to date on her life on Instagram.
Over the years, Poyd has worn numerous gowns for special events…
…but one of her most striking looks graced the red carpet in 2018. Poyd dressed up in a sparkling FERRAGAMO dress to support amfAR, a nonprofit organization focused on ending the global AIDS epidemic.
The dress was both daring and elegant. It featured a low-cut back and a tastefully cut bodice that fell under the “side-boob” fashion trend.
Like the under-boob fashion trend that hit K-Pop in the 2020s, the side-boob trend was a love-it-or-hate-it look often seen on red carpets in the 2010s.
Although it did occasionally appear before then, the look was more commonly seen on the runway and worn by high fashion models rather than celebrities.
