Park Shin-Hye died but lives again in ‘The Judge From Hell’ (EP01)

In the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘The Judge from Hell’ that aired on the 21st, Justitia (Oh Na-ra) was punished by possessing Kang Bit-na’s body after she was stabbed to death and ended up serving as a judge on Earth.

Justitia is a demon who punishes murderers. And Kang Bit-na (Park Shin-hye) suddenly dies after being stabbed in a park. Kang Bit-na enters Justitia’s gates of hell despite not being on the list and is branded as a murderer by Justitia for going there and almost falls into Gehenna.

Bael (Shin Sung-rok) intervenes saying, “An innocent soul almost fell into Gehenna,” and punished Justitia. “Send 10 murderers who commit murder but do not reflect on it to Gehenna. You have a year.” He punished her further, “You must enter that person’s body and live that person’s life.”

In the end, she came to earth as Justitia, a shining, demoted devil judge, in Kang Bit-na’s body. To fulfill her punishment, she chose to find a criminal among the cases she was in charge of to release with a light sentence and then punish the criminal and send him to hell herself.

Her first criminal was Moon Jung-joon (Jang Do-ha), a perpetrator of dating violence who committed assault and intimidation in the name of love. Han Da-on, a police officer who had previously been wrongly accused of assault and battery, had high hopes when he learned that the judge who had found him not guilty, Kang Bit-na, was the judge in charge of this dating violence case.

However, Han Da-on’s expectations were shattered. Kang Bit-na fined Moon Jung-joon 3 million won, and Moon Jung-joon, who was released like that, went to visit his former lover Cha Min-jung (Park Jung-yeon) and committed a terrible assault.

He threatened to kill not only Cha Min-jung but also her parents. As a result, Cha Min-jung hanged herself. Kang Bit-na met with Moon Jung-joon after considering him a murderer.

In the Epilogue, Kang Bit-na escaped her cell in Hell and was chased by the warden and a monster.
