The Judge from Hell kdrama – Episode 6 Recap and Spoilers.

SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama ‘The Judge from Hell’ recorded its highest viewership rating on the 5th, breaking its own record by recording a nationwide rating of 13.1% and a metropolitan rating of 13.5%. This is the highest rating among all channels in the same time slot, and the highest viewership rating at the time soared to 16.1%.

The drama is an action fantasy that tells the story of a demon named Kang Bit-na (Park Shin-hye) who enters the body of a judge and is reborn as a true judge by punishing criminals. With the mission of sending murderers who do not reflect on their wrongdoings to hell, she judges criminals in the hellish manner of ‘an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.’

Previously, Kang Bit-na infiltrated the hospital where Yang Seung-bin (Yang Kyung-won), a criminal in the family murder case, was being held. Kang Bit-na then took out a dagger to execute Yang Seung-bin. However, Han Da-on, who was hiding under Yang Seung-bin’s bed, grabbed her ankle tightly. Han Da-on (Kim Jae-young) suspected that the devil Kang Bit-na was involved in a series of serial murders in which the criminals died and was chasing her. Kang Bit-na managed to shake off Han Da-on after a fight in the dark.

In a situation where the execution of Yang Seung-bin failed, the sentencing date for Yang Seung-bin approached. Han Da-on revealed crucial evidence during the trial that Yang Seung-bin committed murder without having multiple personalities. Angry, Kang Bit-na did not accept the evidence presented by Han Da-on as evidence. She then went down to the courtroom and provoked Yang Seung-bin. Yang Seung-bin went berserk again, but Kang Bit-na declared Yang Seung-bin innocent.

The bereaved family wept at the slap on the wrist. Han Da-on judged that Kang Bit-na had declared Yang Seung-bin innocent in order to kill him, so she boarded Yang Seung-bin’s escort vehicle with him. However, an unidentified group attacked the escort vehicle, kidnapped Yang Seung-bin, and disappeared. Han Da-on resisted fiercely, but it was impossible to fight against the devil. In the end, Han Da-on decided to guard Kang Bit-na’s house all night to prevent her from going outside.

However, Kang Bit-na easily shook Han Da-on off and began to execute Yang Seung-bin at a theater. Kang Bit-na transformed into the false personalities that Yang Seung-bin created and repaid Yang Seung-bin for the same evils he had done to his family. Even in extreme pain, Yang Seung-bin shamelessly said, “Sin dies, so I’ll live a little longer and then go to the afterlife to pray.” Kang Bit-na exploded with anger and sent Yang Seung-bin straight to hell.

Han Da-on opened her eyes in front of Kang Bit-na’s house the next morning. Kang Bit-na left the house as if nothing had happened. At that time, Han Da-on received a call that Yang Seung-bin had died. After that, Kang Bit-na heard the cries of the bereaved family who were suffering because the criminal had died without being properly punished. At that moment, Kang Bit-na’s heart tightened again. Han Da-on strongly warned Kang Bit-na, “I will definitely catch him. And once I catch him, I will never let him go.”

Meanwhile, the secret that the devil Lee Ah-rong (Kim Ah-young) had been hiding was revealed in the broadcast that day. Lee Ah-rong had said that she had come to the human world with the mission of punishing two criminals in the government just like Kang Bit-na. However, Lee Ah-rong’s real mission was to find demons that had become humanized or fallen in love. The change in Lee Ah-rong’s relationship with Kang Bit-na, who had begun to show emotional changes little by little, was a point that drew attention.

On the other hand, the ending of that day was shocking as it hinted at the occurrence of another murder case. Single mother Yoo Jung-im (Park Ji-yeon), who lives in the same Hwangcheon Villa as Kang Bit-na, was attacked by an unidentified man while leaving her house alone late at night. Episode 6 of ‘Judge from Hell’ ended with the unidentified man wielding a knife at the terrified Yoo Jung-im. The ending raised curiosity about whether Yoo Jung-im would become the next victim.

Episode 6 of ‘The Judge from Hell’ held viewers’ breaths for 60 minutes with a thrilling and fast-paced development, from Kang Bit-na’s punishment of Yang Seung-bin, Kang Bit-na and Han Da-on’s push-and-pull, Lee Ah-rong’s surprising identity, and the ending hinting at a new case. In addition, Kang Bit-na’s anger at Yang Seung-bin, the perpetrator of the family murder case, was stronger than ever, hinting at an emotional change in her.
