YGX‘s Lee Jung is a famous choreographer in K-Pop, known for her work with numerous artists, including BLACKPINK, TWICE, and ITZY. Since her appearance on Street Woman Fighter, her popularity has only grown.
The dancer recently used her professional expertise to name who she believes are K-Pop’s best dancers.
Lee Jung recently appeared on Hyeri‘s Hyeri’s Club, where the two industry professionals talked about numerous topics over a meal.
At one point, Hyeri asked Lee Jung to name her top three K-Pop dancers, which she did, starting with BLACKPINK‘s Lisa. Lee Jung not only worked with the idol for BLACKPINK’s music videos but was also the choreographer for Lisa’s “Money,” which earned her “Best Choreographer of The Year” at the 2021 MAMA Awards.
She added that Lisa was her “number one” for life.
Next, Lee Jung named TWICE‘s Momo as the next in her Top 3 picks. Lee Jung worked with TWICE on tracks including “Fancy,” “Alcohol-Free,” and “I Can’t Stop Me.”
She described the dancer as “clean, fast, and exact,” saying Momo’s skills were comparable to hers.
Next, Lee Jung named NCT‘s Taeyong, having worked with the artist on his solo release “Shalala.”
She said that when working with Taeyong, she didn’t have to worry about the choreography’s difficulty because of his skills!
