Fashion is arguably one of the biggest parts of the K-Pop industry and a massive force in the rest of the world. As fashion trends worldwide rise and fall, K-Pop idols and western celebrities will sometimes end up rocking the same outfit, like what happened with TWICE‘s Nayeon and British pop singer-songwriter Dua Lipa.
Both stars wore the BLUMARINE Cotton Denim Butterfly Crop Top. The Y2K-inspired top is now sold out but retailed for $412 USD and features a large butterfly acting as the front of the top.
Dua Lipa wore the top in a series of photos on her Instagram.
She paired the look with the brand’s Blue Straight Embroiaded Jeans that retailed for around $900 USD. Dua Lipa also joined the much-discussed under-boob trend in her last photo!
Nayeon wore the look for her Studio Choom performance of “Pop!” The star went viral multiple times during the promotions of her first solo album for some of her more creative fashion choices, including the iconic outfit made from a designer towel.
Nayeon looked gorgeous and gave total Y2K vibes. Instead of wearing the crop top as is, she added what appears to be a bandeau to make dancing much easier.
Incidentally, Nayeon wore the same pair of pants as Dua Lipa!
These beautiful women both rocked this look, but do you have a preference?
