NCT 127 on the other has finished their Neo City Tour: The Origin last February 24 in Tokyo and has finished their promotions for their comeback, Kick It. They boys went all out for the content they released during their promotional activity for their recent come back. They’ve been posting back to back video content on their youtube channel before, during, and after promotions.
Alongside the announcement of their comeback, NCT 127’s North American leg of their next tour Neo City The Awards was also released.
- SNS
Although quarantine has been established in all parts of the world, this didn’t stop NCT from releasing content through SNS. The members of NCT have been updating their fans about their daily lives through Twitter and Bubble, a messaging app that is provided by LYSN, which is SM’s fan club app. Three members from NCT 127, namely Jaehyun, Johnny, and Yuta also created Instagram accounts as a platform for them to be able to communicate with their fans in a more convenient way.
NCT Dream, despite not being able to go out and interact with fans, leaned towards V Live audio to somewhat talk to the fans and let them know about what they do on a daily basis. Around this time, the boys also filmed v-logs for their youtube channel, NCT Daily.
On April 1st, NCT 127 decided to prank their fans by ignoring the V Live and in turn NCTzens got back at them by telling them that they cannot hear them. This caused an amazing response from both the boys and their fans as they were pranked for April Fool’s Day.
During this time, they announced that they will be having a relay V Live from April 1 until April 7, 2020, wherein they will be switching members per live video and will bring their fans different content per day.
- Variety Shows
Right after NCT Dream finished their first tour, they started filming a variety show called “Idol Troops Camp”, which is a show hosted by Lee Soo Geun and Lee Jin Ho. This variety can be viewed through the Seezn app.
Renjun, a member of NCT Dream, currently runs a radio show called “Akdong Seoul”, which airs every day at 9PM KST on the youtube channel of TBS eFM 101.3MHz.
Following their Kick It music show promotions, NCT 127 also filmed for the famous variety show, Weekly Idol. They were given 2 episodes in the show and they proved how flexible they are when it comes to entertainment. They showed various sides of them throughout different challenges in the show and gave NCTzens something to talk about.
That’s it for now! NCTzens, keep your eyes out for more content from NCT and make sure to subscribe in their social media accounts and their youtube channels!
