Woollim CEO Lee Jung Yeop is under controversy for abusing and hitting an INFINITE member.
INFINITE‘s Woohyun held an Instagram live and revealed the drinking scene with member Kim Sung Kyu and CEO Lee Jung Yeop. Sung Kyu also said, “I think the boss will kick the blanket tomorrow. Please be careful,” trying to settle the situation in a hurry.
CEO Lee then let out some curse words and told Woo Hyun, “Your face weighs 80 kgs so stop it. Your face is the worst, you XX.”
Woo Hyun retorted to his comments and stated, “Don’t swear” but the CEO’s abusive remarks continued. The CEO stated, “What is XX? Are you not my child?”
Nam Woo hyun replied and said, “I’m not CEO’s XX. I have parents too,” sparking controversy.
Fans watching the broadcast in shock reacted stating, “No matter how close you are, you can’t assault members on live broadcast. This is too much violence.”
When asked about the controversial live stream, an official from Woollim stated, “we’re checking.”
In the meantime, Woohyun and Sungkyu debuted in 2010 with INFINITE through Woollim Entertainment led by CEO Lee Jung Yeop.
